About this Blog
I created this blog to raise awareness about CF through sharing my personal experiences and perspective.
CF is a genetic disease that primarily affects the lungs and digestive system. There are only around 70,000 people in the world with CF, 30,000 of them in the U.S. There is no cure for CF, so treatments only manage the complex collection of issues CF causes. However, because there are so few people in the world with CF, yet patients are living longer, much of what is known is outdated and inaccurate. I hope to dispel some of the myths and provide a basic education on my experiences with Cystic Fibrosis.

What is TheraPink?
The name TheraPink is a combination of the words “Therapy” and “Pink”. I know it’s so cliché for a woman to like pink, but to me, the color represents life. Think of all the wonderful things that come in pink. Newborn babies. Springtime blossoms. Healthy lungs. The paw pads of kittens. Bubblegum.
So how could I view the world through any perspective other than pink?
